4th July πŸ”₯πŸ’§πŸ’« Ash2Soil #2 β€” Free Regeneration Workshop in Central Portugal

This spring, we kicked off Ash2Soil, a year-long collaborative project in Central Portugal.

The goal: inspiring communities to transform fire-affected landscapes into resilient ecosystems.

On Saturday July 4th, we're co-facilitating the Summer event: Resilient Soil

πŸ’‘
Participation is free of chargeβ€”read on for a project summary, event details, and to register

About this Project

  • Four seasonal community gatherings, bringing together science, field practice, culture, and art to transform fire-affected landscapes into resilient ecosystems.
  • For anyone seeking to broaden knowledge and skills around co-creating of abundant ecosystems that prevent fire, mitigate floods, and build both natural _ social resilience
  • No experience required; all you need to bring is an open heart and mindβ€”be welcome!

What will participation bring you?

  • A shift in mindset β€”busting myths that can keep us stuck in (invisible) degradation loops, and embodying natural, abundance-increasing patterns.
  • Micro-level understanding β€” getting to grips with the elemental importance of a living soil food web.
  • Adaptive knowledge and practical skills β€” mitigating drought–flood–fire risks, working for water, (inter)planting, mulching, irrigating and managing.
  • Empowerment and connection β€” because no one is as smart as everyone πŸ˜„.
